This Policy explains the information Catalyst processes when you use the website, game server, launcher, store, voting features, and support services.
1. Information collected
We process the username, display name, email address, password hash, account role, point balance, account dates, vote history, store orders, delivery status, and IP address associated with voting or security records. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; Catalyst does not store readable passwords.
2. How information is used
Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, deliver game services and purchases, apply vote cooldowns, protect the service from abuse, investigate rule violations, provide support, maintain security, and improve Catalyst.
3. Cookies and sessions
The website uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect form submissions. This cookie is required for account features. Catalyst does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, payment, voting, or security providers as necessary to operate Catalyst. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or needed to protect users, the service, or others.
5. Retention and security
Account records are retained while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, disputes, enforcement, backups, and legal obligations. We use access controls, prepared database queries, password hashing, HTTPS, session protections, and other reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information through the official support channel. Some records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security, disputes, or law. Deleting an account may permanently remove access and game progress.
7. Children and changes
Catalyst is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that ineligible information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to remove it. Policy updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
